Almost 2 months!!!! I have been having my ups and my down but mainly ups :) Spanish is getting alot easier. However it is still very difficult for me to understand when somebody is giving a presentation or a lecture like a teacher. This past weekend I went to RYLA here. It was ALOT different than the RYLA in the United States. Also it really made me realize the differences between Mexico and the United States and its kinda hard for me to deal with but I will get over. The main difference im realizing is that in the United State there is a social norm, however the social norm varies a lot. Also its okay if you are out of the social norm, it is relatively acceptable. However here, if you are out of the social norm or try to express yourself heaven forbid, you are nearly a criminal. Its just a difference of culture right? Its just hard to accept when I was raised a different way. 

I went this past Thursday to volunteer. I went to a relatively poor area which I think was right outside of Aguascalientes. Well this group goes every Thursday and there were around mabye 20 to 30 young girls who are from the community there. We do activities with them. It was alot of fun but of course they all stared! haha. A couple of the little girls came up to me and asked where im from and when i told them they said ohhh I can speak English, I said oh yes? what words do you know and they just looked at me and stared and smiled then ran away haha. It was very very cute! But I hope to continue going I really enjoyed it!!!

It is getting very cold here. About the temperature of Indiana right now believe it of not!! It makes me miss home a little :/ ha oh well I will live :)
